Barrett Jackson winners now in miniature
Greenlight is now making die-cast replicas of cars that hauled in the big bucks at previous Barrett-Jackson auctions

As discussed here previously, Greenlight’s 1:64 scale cars are mostly excellent: metal body and chassis, soft tires on prototypically correct wheels, great detailing, etc.
Their new Barrett-Jackson series is no exception, and the number of new castings in the series (the ever-popular
Plymouth ’Cuda, among others) is impressive.
Plus the hook, that these are models of actual cars that sold for big bucks in years past as they rolled
across the transom, is indeed a clever one.
We’ll be ordering a case from our favorite distributor, and happily pay roughly $5 a car, in the next month or two. Or, barring that, we’ll just wait until the castings trickle into other Greenlight series, like Musclecar Garage. For more, check out Greenlight’s Web site.
